Jewish Voice's Outreach Teams visit Mudanda, Zimbabwe
Throughout the year, teams from Jewish Voice travel to remote locations in Africa to serve as hands, feet, and heart of Yeshua. In these outreaches they provide free medical, dental, and optical clinics along with teams of volunteers who pray and witness to the patients and their families. Many receive healings, and many come to faith. Jewish families reside in the areas of these clinics. They do these clinic outreaches responding to Biblical inspiration provided by verses such as Isaiah 61:1-2.
“The Ruach Adonai Elohim is on me, because Adonai has anointed me to proclaim Good News to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound to proclaim the year of Adonai’s favor and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn.” TLV
Recently, Jewish Voice visited Mudanda, Zimbabwe. Thousands of men, women, and children visited the clinics. There were long lines of stretchers and make-shift carts carrying many seeking help. The Outreach Team organized the line according to the need — medical, dental, vision, prayer. Doing all they could to minister to each persons need.
The Outreach Team also visited the local rural schools to deliver Family LifeStraw units that would provide safe drinking water for 3-5 years. The Team provided instruction on how to use the units correctly.
Jewish Voice has been providing this service for 20 years. The first year they served 7000 patients. Today, they average 10,000 patients at each location.
